Brokenshire Memorial Hospital (BMH) is a tertiary general hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurosciences, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
The College of Medicine, true to its vision of developing multipotential medical graduates, developed programs, which can enhance their roles as specialty clinicians, researchers, educators, managers, social mobilizers and advocates.
BMH is a healing ministry of the Brokenshire Integrated Health Ministries, Inc. (BIHMI) and is poised to meet the healthcare needs of patients with a community of dedicated healthcare personnel and state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic equipments.

With its accredited residency training programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Surgery (accreditation on process), BMH provides a fertile ground for future doctors who are trained to provide quality healthcare and to address the health needs of the people holistically.

The Brokenshire Community Health & Development Center (BCHDC) is a flagship program of the Brokenshire Integrated Health Ministries, Incorporated supported mainly by Bread for the World-Protestant Development Service of Germany and the Brokenshire Resource Complex. Its purpose is to act as catalyst in community health development process towards the establishment of self-reliant community health program.

The objectives include establishing community-owned and community-managed health programs that effectively respond to the health needs of the communities; establishing a network of community health programs, organizations/institutions, health professionals and students that actively participate in community health and development process.

Program components include Organizing, Training & Services, Project Support, and Resource Development. It has facilitated and supported the organization of people's health cooperatives/organizations/associations, training of community health workers and disaster teams, equipping of community health clinics, construction of barangay water systems, premium payment for indigent health insurance, agri-nutrition demonstration farms, and sanitation & environmental concerns projects.

The pilot program communities are located in eight (8) provinces in Mindanao. Program implementation is a partnership undertaking with the local government units, church organizations, and other stakeholders and partners.

Earlier, BCHDC pioneered in the whole country a tripartite agreement in the Medicare sa Masa Program of the government with its participation as a non-government organization.

In 2006, BIHMI-BCHDC was a finalist in the the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. Triennial Awards for the Eduardo Aboitiz Outstanding Institution in Visayas-Mindanao for its extensive community health and development program.
